Restoration of Deer Lake
For seven years, the community of Deer Lake in Chalk Hill, Pennsylvania has been waiting to enjoy a lake again. When the lake was drained in 2007 due to a dangerous water dam system the community self-funded a project to restore the lake and build a new dam. Since construction began in 2015, there has been complications and violation that have slowed the project's progress. In this video we speak to several key players about the ongoing problems and what it will take to get the community it's lake back.
